The participants from last year left in June and I thought I’d have to time to travel, goof off, whatever. But it seems that the summer went through a worm hole and it’s now the end of July and a new group is almost here.
This coming week the Service Adventure Leaders from the other units will arrive in Albuquerque for orientation. Thanks to my support committee I think the week should go well. They’ve coordinated housing, food and the many other details with Susan. I just have to prepare my two little spiels and the hike in the Petroglyphs. No problem - I hope.
Other news from Albuquerque - I’ve been hired by the company I was working at as a temp. New duties, new office, nice schedule. Things are good. I don’t have to worry about not having a temp assignment. Also, I’ve been biking every morning for the past week. Trying to get into the habit of biking every day. So far, so good. Now that I’ve put it in cyberspace I guess I’ve got to keep at it or ya’ll will start to hound me. Right? I’d expect nothing less from my friends and family.
I guess that’s it for now. See you next week.
Peace
